and winemaker Rob Lawson strives to integrate Napa Valley’s climate and growing
techniques and conditions with true Italian varietals, blending California’s
Cabernet Sauvignon and Italy’s Montepulciano into this lush wine. The Pelissa
family planted a half acre of this old Montepulciano Abruzzo clone in 2001
specifically for PAVI, adding a dark-fruit and cocoa component to the PAVI
Cabernet Sauvignon.

This is a lush, full-bodied wine, rich with
dark-fruit flavors and floral aromas.
The intense flavors of black cherry, peppery spice, and cocoa come
together in a balanced wine that is a perfect complement to savory grilled and
braised meats, mushroom pizza and the perfect hamburger!  It is a great everyday wine!
